The original unassuming “Dad Sauce” has a little known but rich history of drama on the high seas, stowed away in the bows of Indian spice ships. While it may have roots in a namesake English county, we thought it was high time Wagga had its own version of this saucy little number.
Originally sold with the promise of making your hair grow beautiful, we make no such guarantees! But we can promise Wagga’s version – cooked with Batlow green apples, prunes grown in Yenda and salty tamarind – ages like a fine wine and is just perfect paired with steak on a cooked breakfast or swirled through a Bloody Mary.
